Behind the scenes: Timebender

Timebender was shot in different Western Massachusetts towns including:  Ashfield, Northampton, Amherst, Hadley, and Hatfield.  Most of the filming took place in Ashfield at two primary locations: A private residence, and Elmer’s Cafe.

The private residence was where all the exterior action sequences were shot;  the same residence also served as the interior location for all the Sandra Hill scenes.  At this address, there is also a barn, that served as the second barn location in the film.  The main reason for filming here was the large amount of space.

Elmer’s Cafe, on Maine Street was the location for some very memorable scenes in the film.

A house at 463 Bay Rd, Amherst was the location for all the Jordan Sander’s interior and exterior scenes.

The opening scene of Timebender along with scene 18 was shot on the streets of Northampton.

A group of barns, and warehouses in Hatfield served as Robert Jone’s time travel arrival and departure point. Also, the warehouse at this location was where we shot two scenes set in 2159.

The Route Nine Diner in Hadley was the setting for a huge reveal scene between Robert Jones, and Jordan Sanders.
